What to Expect After Booking
Once interpreting services are confirmed, we work with you to support a clear, prepared, and accessible experience — from preparation through follow-up.
Preparation
Before the Event
Clients may be asked to provide the following so interpreters can prepare thoroughly.
- Agenda or run of show
- Speaker names and roles
- Slides or scripts
- Specialized vocabulary
- Names of Deaf participants, presenters, or panelists when relevant
- Platform links
- On-site contact information
- Room setup information
- Recording or livestream details
- Security, parking, or building access instructions
For Virtual Events
Please confirm whether the platform supports:
- Interpreter spotlighting or pinning
- Multi-pin or gallery view
- Separate interpreter video feeds
- Screen sharing and interpreter visibility at the same time
- Captions, if provided by another vendor
- Tech check access before the event
A pre-event tech check may be required for webinars, conferences, and high-visibility virtual events.
For In-Person Events
Please consider:
- Interpreter sightlines
- Lighting
- Seating arrangements
- Stage or platform placement
- Microphone and audio access
- Green room or prep space, when applicable
- Check-in and security access
- Printed programs or event materials
- Where Deaf attendees, presenters, or panelists will be positioned
On the Day
During the Event
Our interpreters work to support accurate, culturally responsive, and context-aware communication access. Depending on the setting, interpreter teams may rotate, coordinate transitions, or adjust positioning to support visibility and comprehension.
Follow-Up
After the Event
After services are completed, we may:
- Issue or update the invoice
- Confirm any overtime or scope changes
- Request feedback
- Discuss future or recurring access needs
- Update the client record for smoother future requests
