What Are Cookies
The Company's website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
How We Use Cookies
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize the Company's pages, or register with the Company's site or services, a cookie helps the Company recall your specific information on subsequent visits.
Types of Cookies on This Site
- Strictly Necessary — Used to remember your cookie consent decision. These are always active and cannot be disabled.
- Analytics (Google Analytics) — Helps us understand which pages and content are most useful to visitors. Loads only after you accept cookies. IP addresses are anonymized.
- Marketing (MailerLite) — Powers our newsletter signup popup. Loads only after you accept cookies.
- Embedded Community Calendar (Google Calendar) — Our public events calendar on the Community page is hosted by Google. When you choose to view it inline, Google may set cookies on calendar.google.com. The calendar only loads after you accept cookies; otherwise we show a placeholder with a link to view it externally.
- Event Submission & Service Request Forms (Tally) — Our "Submit an Event" form on the Community page and our "Request Services" form sitewide are powered by Tally. Tally may set cookies on tally.so when the form modal is loaded. The form modal script only loads after you accept cookies; the buttons fall back to opening the form in a new tab if cookies are declined.
- Instagram Feed (Lightwidget) — The "From the Field" section on the Community page embeds an Instagram feed via Lightwidget. Lightwidget and Instagram may set cookies when the feed loads. The widget only loads after you accept cookies; otherwise we show a placeholder with a link to view our Instagram profile directly.
Your Control Over Cookies
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. When you first visit this site, you'll see a banner asking you to accept or decline. Your choice is saved locally in your browser, and you can change it by clearing the site's data from your browser settings.
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Company's services or websites you visit.
Third-Party Cookies
When analytics, marketing, and embedded-content scripts are loaded (after your consent), they may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies directly. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy:
- Google (Analytics and Calendar) Privacy Policy
- MailerLite Privacy Policy
- Tally Privacy Policy
- Lightwidget Privacy Policy
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. For broader data handling practices, see our Privacy Policy.
